CAD MODULES OF PROSYS
Pro.vericad: Checking plan quality
The pro.vericad application can check that plans comply with a graphical standard (such as ISO 13567) and translate plan structures from one standard to another. pro.vericad uses a lexicon in Excel format.
Pro/VeriCAD can check:
- layers,
- blocks
- entities,
- text style and line type compliance.
Pro/VeriCAD can manipulate:
- layers (colours, lines, renaming, deletion etc.),
- drawings (scale, explode, object/paper space),
- blocks and text styles,
- fonts used in text styles.
Production module
The production module that is part of Mezzoteam, the Prosys content management platform, enables users to modify a document without having to download it or save it to their computer beforehand. The document can be opened within Mezzoteam and modified directly.
The Mezzoteam production module interfaces with AutoCAD. This makes it possible to retrieve information automatically from document files and fill in the title blocks in graphics files. This ensures consistency between the document repository and paper documents, and avoids the need to enter data twice.
Processing server
Processing servers can be used to process documents in Mezzoteam.
Processing servers are ideal for:
- long and complex processes that consume large amounts of computer resources (such as summary plans based on compilations of several AutoCAD plans)
- processes specific to a particular client or project
- specialised processes that Prosys delegates to a partner (such as legally valid electronic signatures and time stamps on documents).
The processing server can, for example, take charge of the following processes:
- checking that AutoCAD plans comply with the project's visual identity: The processing server checking a plan's compliance sends a result to the workflow task that triggered the check and adds a report to the plan's Mezzoteam record in the form of a file.
- adding an approval stamp to plans in PDF format: The processing server adding an approval stamp to a plan stores a PDF file containing the stamp in the plan's Mezzoteam record.
